If you’re a regular visitor, you should see that I didn’t write any new post for a long time… It’s time to change things. Last days I had an idea that was compiled with my free time and here it is- the speed painting process. I made this for my friend as a keepsake. The idea of this kind of art is to sketch, doodle and not erase too much. You can draw something carefully or pretty airily- it doesn’t matter. Just free your imagination. Don’t care so much about details and lines that doesn’t fit. Show what you wanted to.

I had a little emptiness of inspiration in last days and my friend suggested me to write such tutorial. Firstly it was concentrated just on torn typo, but later I thought- hey! Why not to create whole shirt? It isn’t a big problem for me. My main rival is just a time. But giving a half hour each day for tut is possible. And here it is. Tutorial about making shirt and torn typo/logo on it from scratch.

Since I changed my nickname (and what comes with it- my business identification) I don’t need my old logo anymore. But still I quite love it, so I would like to share a technique of making such chrome effect on logo with You. It’s not really a pure chrome, but I didn’t know how to name it though. Everything is pretty simple, the main point are bleding options. I generally don’t like to work with them, but sometimes they are pretty useful. As usual, all You need is photoshop.

Today I noticed that my tutorial from contest submission were added to psdtuts.com. I do really thought that this tut will be forgotten, because I don’t have a time and good server to publish it on my own. Maybe it needs some corrections, but if You want to learn something from this- You will.
